I Downloaded the software. What do i do first?
First locate the file that you have downloaded. Double click the file called reg911setup.exe. Read each window and follow the instructions until the program is installed. After installation is complete, the program will probably start automatically unless you chose otherwise.
Once the main window is in front of you, you should notice a list of items starting with Create System Backup. Notice all of these items are checked by default. Registry 911 will always check the items it recommends for removal. Click the button called "Scan for Errors", It will start scanning through the checked items from top to bottom. It will show you the progress of each item as it does it and there is a percentage progress bar at the bottom to estimate the progress of the task.

How do I add an item to the ignore list?
If the item was an Item in the "Startup Programs" list you would first click the "Startup Programs" button on the left side of the screen. Find the item in the right column that you would like Registry911 to ignore and simply highlight the text. Do not modify the checkbox in order to ignore it. Once the item is highlighted in blue, click "Ignore Highlighted". This will immediately remove the item from the list and add it to the ignore database for "Startup".

How do I remove Registry911 from my computer?
Versions 2.4 and above create an uninstaller on your Start Menu. Find the folder under the Programs List named "Registry911". This should expand out and you should see two files. One file is the Registry911 with a green shield icon. The one we want to click on is labeled "Uninstall Registry911". If Registry911 is running in the background when you try and uninstall, the operation will not be successful. If you see Registry911 running down next to the system clock, right click and click "Exit Registry911" on the menu. After we are sure Registry911 is not running, click the uninstaller icon on the start menu.
If you do not have Registry911 on your start menu, you didn't select the option when you installed it. You can either reinstall Registry911 and make sure you select "Create Start Menu Icon" and your uninstaller will be placed there. Then proceed to follow the steps as before.
You can also just manually delete the Registry911 files from their installation path. By default the installation path is as stated below. Manually deleting the "Registry911" Folder will remove all remnants of the program including the startup item.

"C:\PROGRAM FILES\Registry911\"

Registry911 Also installs an option to the Add/Remove Programs List.
